On Knowledge Day - September 1, the ESCS Minister Arayik Harutyunyan visited Armavir region to take part in the opening ceremony of the renovated, equipped gyms, cloakrooms and the surrounding territory of the secondary schools in Tandzut and Aygeshat community. The event was also attended by the RA Prime Minister's wife, Anna Hakobyan, Chair of the Board of Trustees of "My Step" Charitable Foundation.

The renovation works were launched about three months ago, on May 27, within the framework of "My Step" Foundation's "Promotion of a հealthy lifestyle in secondary schools" program.

The initiative aims to promote physical education and disseminate the culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles, contribute to the prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, active community life. The renovation works are co-financed by “Izmirlian” Foundation, Armenian Office.

It should be noted that new schools have already been included in the "Promotion of healthy lifestyle in secondary schools" program.
