Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the newly constructed School №122 after Alexander Blok in Yerevan and got acquainted with the conditions.

ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, TAI Minister Gnel Sanosyan and Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan accompanied the Prime Minister.

The construction of the school was launched in January 2021. Currently, there are 821 students studying here. The construction work was carried out within the framework of the "Seismic Safety Improvement Program” of the Asian Development Bank. In general, 1 billion 948 million AMD were allocated for the construction of the school.

The Prime Minister congratulated those present on the opening of the school and highlighted the importance of the event: “The most significant events for the future of our country occur not only in government buildings but also in schools and kindergartens, where ideas about the future of our country are formed in the minds of those people who should realize them. And in this regard, the creation of such schools, the formation of an appropriate physical environment is extremely important, because urban planning and urban development facilities are factors that directly affect our thinking, which should never be underestimated.”

The Prime Minister thanked all those who contributed to the construction of the school. The Head of Government also thanked the Asian Development Bank for cooperation and expressed hope that productive cooperation will continue and advance.
