The Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the “LOGOS EXPO Center” exhibition company, with the assistance of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, organized the “Education and Career EXPO 2022” exhibition from April 27 to 29, the opening ceremony of which was attended by ESCS Minister Vahram Dumanyan.

More than 80 education centers (universities, colleges, training centers, schools), as well as international donor organizations from Armenia, Belarus, Russia participated in the traditional 21st International Specialized Exhibition at the “Yerevan EXPO” exhibition complex. In particular, the Yerevan State College of Humanities operating under the ESCS Ministry, the Vagharshapar high schools №2 named after G. Narekatsi and №5 named after M. Gorky, the Yerevan State Vocational School of Decorative and Applied Arts, had prepared quite presentable pavilions.

During the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, ESCS Minister Vahram Dumanyan welcomed the organizers and participants, emphasizing the importance of the role and significance of such events in the development of the sector.

“The RA Government pays great attention to the reforms realized in the field of education. Therefore, the ESCS Ministry has been supporting and will continue to promote the organization of such events and exhibitions. It is known that education is one of the main pillars of the welfare and development of the society, and, the advancement perspectives of all other sectors are based on it. I congratulate all the participants and wish fruitful work,” noted Vahram Dumanyan.

The Minister also toured the exhibition, visited a number of pavilions, talked with the participants and got acquainted with the materials presented by them.

The organizers emphasized that the main objective of the event was to provide school children and students with information about the whole sector of modern education, to foster the establishment of business relations between educational centers and enterprises, to inform about the most in-demand professions in the labour market, to organize meetings between job seekers and real employers, as well as to involve state, private and public organizations with their new educational programs.

It should be added that the main thematic pavilions of Yerevan EXPO are higher education and academies, universities, institutes, secondary vocational education and colleges, VET schools, gymnasiums, staff training, continuing education, foreign languages, studying abroad, exchange programs, etc.
