RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan received head of National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) Ruben Topchyan and the Accreditation Committee members. The working meeting was also attended by ESCS Deputy Ministers Zhanna Andreasyan and Karen Trchunyan.

Issues related to the education sector development, accreditation of educational institutions implementing professional educational programs, their specialties and the work carried out in this direction were discussed․

Minister Vahram Dumanyan highlighted the importance of effective cooperation with the ANQA, emphasizing that the cornerstone of the country's development lies in the high level of education. According to the ESCS Minister, the adoption of the law on “Higher Education and Science" implies a review of the accreditation procedure and certain changes for the benefit of good governance and advancement of the education system. In this regard, the accreditation specifics of the universities and the primary (craftsmanship) and vocational educational institutions were discussed, which should be considered when developing the new procedure.

Underlining the importance of building mutual trust between the educational institutions implementing professional educational programs, Vahram Dumanyan suggested organizing an extended discussion with representatives of educational institutions and creating corresponding working groups.
