“We are living in difficult historical times and have serious challenges. One is undoubtedly the pandemic, and the other is the war that has befallen us, and now, more than ever, we need unity, strengthening of the Armenian structures in Diaspora. I am confident that the process should start with education. At this point, especially emphasized is the role of our Diaspora officials of education, who carry out the patriotic work of providing Armenian education to the younger generation. Every difficulty is also an opportunity. The recent Artsakh war strives us to make every effort for the consolidation of all Armenians. In this regard, we must be more unified, learn lessons and be able to face the reality. The conditions of the pandemic enabled us to develop new educational resources and to enhance the tools of distance learning. I would like to note that both the war and the pandemic have an impact on Armenia's education development strategy, which is currently under revision,” noted Arthur Martirosyan.

The ESCS Deputy Minister also informed the participants of the conference that the activities of creating a new distance learning platform have started, the purpose of which is to ensure universal access, new quality distance education in terms of exercising the right to education and ensuring the continuity of education. “It is also going to become the resource-platform based on which we can successively offer educational services to the Diaspora. At this point we attach great importance to the dialogue with you, so that these educational resources are best adapted to your needs. I wish you fruitful work and I want to thank the "Regional Armenian National-Cultural Autonomy of the Krasnodar Krai" Organization for realizing this initiative”.
