The RA ESCS Deputy Minister Artur Martirosyan received the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Culture of the Republic of Artsakh Hasmik Minasyan. During the meeting, the issues related to the organization of the continuity of education of students who moved from the Republic of Artsakh due to the military situation, were discussed.

A. Martirosyan referred to the issue of violation of the right to education, as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish terrorist aggression, unleashed on September 27 against Artsakh and Armenia, which targets not only civilian infrastructures, but also educational institutions.

A. Martirosyan noted that the Ministry and the higher education institutions of Armenia are making every effort to ensure the continuity of education of Artsakh students, at this stage highlighting the issues of ensuring the involvement of Artsakh students in the educational process and the proper organization of the upcoming semester exams.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Culture of Artsakh Republic H. Minasyan, in her turn, presented the difficulties the Artsakh HEIs face in terms of establishing contact with the students and resuming the educational process due to the war and the pandemic, and emphasized the importance of the assistance provided by Armenian universities. Both sides agreed to work more efficiently to ensure a unified approach to the existing issues, at the same time taking an individual approach to the students' problems.
