In addition to the representatives of the MoESCS, the representatives of the civil society involved on competitive bases, youth experts and young people also participated in the last meeting of the working group for the development of the draft Strategy of the State Youth Policy for 2021-2025 via video conferencing. Welcoming the participants and expressing gratitude for their participation in the development of the draft strategy, the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Artur Martirosyan emphasized the importance of participation in the development of the State Youth Policy Strategy; and the involvement of all stakeholders in it. During the meeting, the vision and targets of the youth policy of the Republic of Armenia for the next five years were introduced and discussed, taking as a basis the experience of previous years, the experience of youth policy from different countries and, in particular, from Eastern European countries, as well as proposals based on research and analysis aimed to identify the needs and expectations of young people in Armenia. As a result of the discussions, the schedule for the development of the RA Draft Strategy of State Youth Policy for 2021-2025 was approved, according to which the works are planned to be completed by the end of 2020.
