The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) announces the application period for the 2026 “100 Ideas for Armenia” Pan-Armenian competition for innovative projects and scientific and technical developments.

The goals of the competition are:

  • • to develop innovative thinking among young people,
  • • to involve young people in the processes of solving problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Armenia,
  • • to promote scientific and technical developments and civic initiatives to implement innovative projects.

Young people or author groups aged 13-35 from Armenia and the Diaspora can participate in the competition.

The competition committee will select the best 5 ideas from the ideas submitted to the competition, which will be awarded a cash prize of 500,000 AMD each.

The competition committee will give priority to ideas that have:

  • practical significance,
  • ensure the continuity of the presented idea,
  • the idea must have a public participation component.

The competition is carried out in the following stages:

  • acceptance of applications and evaluation of pre-selected applications by the competition committee,
  • expert evaluation of applications by experts through a presentation,
  • summary of the competition results and awarding of the winning applicants in each category.

The competition is held in the following thematic areas:

1. Biodiversity, climate transition, sustainable energy development and safe management of resources.

The categories are:

• Physical and mathematical sciences,

• Chemical sciences,

• Earth sciences,

• Agricultural sciences

2. Digital transformation, climate data systems and green infrastructures.

The categories are:

• Information Technology,

• Engineering,

• Architecture

3. Biomedical Security, Personalized Healthcare and Promoting Neuropsychological Well-Being.

The categories are:

• Biological Sciences,

• Medical Sciences,

• Pharmaceutical Sciences,

• Psychological Sciences

4. Green Economy, Strategic Management and Economic Sustainability.

The categories are:

• Economics,

• Legal Sciences,

• Political Sciences,

• Sociological Sciences,

• Military Sciences

5. Creative Economy, Cultural Heritage and Human Capital Development.

The categories are:

• Historical Sciences,

• Philological Sciences,

• Art Studies,

• Pedagogical Sciences.

Applications must be sent from May 15 to September 20 of this year inclusive, to the email address Youth@escs.am according to the format, indicating the category of the idea being submitted to the competition in the "Topic" section.

Applications from the Diaspora can also be accepted in Russian or English, according to the provided format.
