With the support of the ESCS Ministry, a series of cultural events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of legendary Armenian musician, artist, director, and producer Stas Namin will take place in Yerevan from May 3 to 11.
On May 3 at 19:00, the drama “My Heart’s in the Highlands”, based on the work of William Saroyan, will be staged.
From May 4 to 11, the Artists’ Union of Armenia will host an exhibition of paintings and graphic works by Stas Namin under the titles “My Armenia,” “The Roots of Rock and Roll,” and “Faces of Freedom.”
On May 5 at 19:00, the musical Beatlemania will be presented — a vibrant, romantic, and energetic production featuring 25 timeless hits by The Beatles.
On May 6 at 19:00, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive performance of “Hair”, the legendary hippie rock musical telling the story of youth, freedom, and love.
On May 7, at 19:00, an exclusive concert of Stas Namin’s legendary “Flowers” (Tsveti) group will take place, where they will perform hits that have stood the test of decades, including “My Clear Star”, “Summer Evening”, “We Wish You Happiness” («Звездочка моя ясная», «Летний вечер», «Мы желаем счастья вам» ) and other popular compositions. The group, which has made rock music history for over half a century, will give the audience an unforgettable holiday of soul, giving its skill and energy thanks to Stas Namin, Alexander Gretsin, Valery Diorditsa, Yuri Vilnin, Oleg Predtechensky and the vocalists of the jubilee theatre.
