The first stop of the “Festivar” music and tourist festival this year was Artashat. On August 23, the city came together in celebration, united by music and a festive atmosphere.

Before the start of the festive concert in Artashat, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, and the Executive Director of the Public Television Company Hovhannes Movsisyan, toured the city and explored the fair of local products. Tourist vehicles also operated in the city, taking participants of the event to regional attractions such as Khor Virap, “Azat” Reservoir, and the archaeological site of the city of Dvin.

The celebration concluded with a concert by singer Saro Tovmasyan (Saro), which was attended by over 20,000 spectators.

The next event within the framework of the “Festivar” will be held on September 13 in Hrazdan, where Harut Pambukchyan's solo concert (“Dzakh Harut”), accompanied by Karen Sevak Band, will take place.

On September 21, Independence Day, various artists will perform in Armavir’s central square, accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, with the performers’ names to be announced soon.

The “Festivar” festival is organized with the support of the ESCS Ministry and is implemented by the Public Television Company. Held for the third consecutive year, the festival seeks to boost domestic tourism and foster regional cultural life.
