Within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian to Armenia, a number of documents were signed between Armenia and Iran, including in the fields of education and culture.

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian attended the signing ceremony.

A Memorandum of Understanding “On cooperation in the field of vocational education and training for 2025-2029” was signed between the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of Iran. On the Armenian side, the document was signed by RA ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, on the Iranian side – IRI Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Seyed Mohammad Atabak.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Library of Armenia and the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Grigor Hakobyan, on the Armenian side, and Head of International Affairs and Public Diplomacy at Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Hojatollah Ayoubi, signed the Memorandum.

Director of the History Museum of Armenia Davit Poghosyan and Head of International Affairs and Public Diplomacy at Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Hojatollah Ayoubi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding “On inter-museum cooperation between the History Museum of Armenia and the National Museum of Iran”.

Director of the Cinema Foundation of Armenia David Banuchyan and Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, Head of Iran’s Cinema and Audiovisual Organization Raed Faridzadeh signed a Memorandum of Understanding on “Film Exchanges and Cooperation between the Cinema Foundation of Armenia of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Cinema and Audiovisual Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
