For the third consecutive year, the ESCS Ministry has organized army games between law enforcement agencies under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan and other officials attended the army games featuring military relay competitions in Tavush region. The Army Games kicked off on June 29 and will end on July 6.

Teams from the Ministries of Defence, Internal Affairs, Justice, National Security Service, State Revenue Committee, Investigative and Anti-Corruption Committees, Prosecutor's Office and State Protection Service participate in the competition. Female service members are also represented in the teams. A total of 19 teams are participating in the games. The Prime Minister thanked the participants of the competition and congratulated the winners.

By holding army games, we aim to create an additional incentive for military personnel to be more focused on their work and have additional motivation for continuous professional development,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

The competitions were held in the discipline of “Orienteering”. The referees assessed the participants' actions, speed and accuracy. As part of the Army Games, competitions in shooting from various weapons, militarized cross-country and relay races were also held.

Participants (both men and women) who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the militarized quadrathlon, militarized cross-country, orienteering, AK-103 rifle shooting, or PM pistol shooting—based on overall standings—will be awarded certificates, medals, and cash prizes in the corresponding categories:

  • 1st place – 1,000,000 AMD
  • 2nd place – 500,000 AMD
  • 3rd place – 300,000 AMD

The team that secures 1st place will be awarded a cup.

Members of the winning teams in the militarized cross-country relay will be awarded medals, certificates, and cash prizes as follows:

  • 1st place – 300,000 AMD
  • 2nd place – 200,000 AMD
  • 3rd place – 150,000 AMD

The prize-winning teams in the team competition will be awarded certificates and cups in the corresponding category.
