RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy Ministers Araksia Svajyan and Daniel Danielyan, as well as students and teachers from the participating schools, attended the closing event of the “Cultural Last Bell” competition, held at the Cinema House.

As part of the event, the winning schools were awarded certificates of appreciation from the ESCS Ministry.

Welcoming the winners, the ESCS Minister first congratulated the participating students on completing an important phase in their lives, expressing hope that the exam period had concluded successfully: “I hope you passed the exams with satisfactory results for you, and if not, don't worry, because you also need to learn from all the challenges of life that make up the part of the learning journey.”

Highlighting the significance of the “Cultural Last Bell” event, the Minister thanked the students, teachers, and schools, emphasizing that the initiative was also made possible through their efforts.

“Around 180 schools participated in this competition: the tremendous amount of work done proved that the initiative was a success. For graduates, it is an opportunity to create freely, to achieve results with imagination and leaps of thought. Their emotions, thoughts, and feelings are expressed on stage, which is what we wanted to see,” said the Minister, adding that the “Cultural Last Bell” event concludes the Year of Cultural Education, declared last September.

As part of the event, the screening of the “Once upon a Time at School-2” movie was organized, at the end of which the actors of the film greeted the students.

Note that 22 schools were recognized as winners of the “Cultural Last Bell” event—two from each region and Yerevan.
