RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, and Deputy Minister Hasmik Avagyan had a meeting with participants of the “RA Prime Minister's Cup” school team cross country running competition in the area of ​​Lake Parz in Dilijan, Tavush region, and talked with them around a campfire. This competition, now in its fourth year, aims to encourage schoolchildren to run and adopt healthy lifestyles, while promoting sports and physical education.

The Prime Minister welcomed the participants and congratulated them on the opportunity to participate in the final stage of the tournament. Nikol Pashinyan underlined the need to promote a healthy lifestyle among the public, including schoolchildren, and emphasized that one of the ways to achieve this goal is to hold these amateur tournaments in various sports.

The meeting covered issues regarding the organization and format of the competition. The participants shared their impressions and emphasized that there is a great interest among schoolchildren in participating in these tournaments.

The “RA Prime Minister's Cup” school cross country running competition among schoolchildren will be held on June 29 in the territory adjacent to Lake Parz in Dilijan. The best school teams of the Republic, recognized as winners at the regional and community levels, will participate in the final stage. 11 teams, each consisting of 7 students, will participate in the tournament, covering a 5,000-meter competition course.
