RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Lori region to familiarize himself with the implemented and ongoing programs. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, and other officials accompanied Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister and officials visited Vanadzor Basic School № 9 named after Kh. Abovyan, where the newly built school gym was introduced. The Government has allocated AMD 224 million for the implementation of the program.

The next stop was Vanadzor Cottage Kindergarten 8, where the progress of the second phase of the building’s construction was presented. The overall cost of the subvention program is about AMD 306 million, of which the Government has allocated AMD 214 million. As a result of the project's implementation, the settlement has a newly built kindergarten with a capacity of 180 places.

In Spitak community, the officials toured the newly built modular-type nursery-kindergarten with a capacity of 144 places and reviewed the facilities. The total cost of the program amounted to AMD 851 million.

The next destination was Gargar settlement, where the construction process of the educational complex was presented. The total cost of the project is AMD 1 billion 947 million. As a result, a new educational complex will be built in Gargar, consisting of a secondary school for 200 children and a kindergarten for 80 children. The program was launched in 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

Next, the high-ranking officials visited the newly built basic school 3 in Stepanavan. The total cost of the program amounted to AMD 1 billion 543 million. The school has a capacity of 432 students. The school is included in the RA Government's “300 Schools to be Built, Renovated or Reconstructed by 2026” program.

The Prime Minister delivered a speech, congratulated those present on the opening of the school, and emphasized: “I would like to thank once again all our citizens working in Armenia and paying legal taxes, and thanks to the funds they generated, the Government was able to build this school. I want our schools to serve as a platform for the good life and welfare of every citizen of our country, our society.”

In Stepanavan community, the officials got acquainted with the renovation work of school № 1. The total cost of the program amounted to AMD 231 million. The renovated school is designed for 522 students. The school is included in the RA Government's “300 Schools to be Built, Renovated or Reconstructed by 2026” program. The work is expected to be completed in the coming months.

The next stop was the newly built secondary school in Hagvi։ the Government has allocated AMD 816 million for the implementation of the program.
