On April 24, the Remembrance Day of the Victims of the Armenian Genocide, the top leadership of the Republic of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, and other officials visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to pay tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the Great Genocide.
RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and members of the Government laid flowers in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The country's top leadership then visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where a temporary exhibition entitled “Documenting the Crime: Eyewitness Documenters of the Armenian Genocide” was opened, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire.
