Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the newly constructed Basic School No. 2 in Abovyan. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan and ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan accompanied him.

They took a tour of the school to familiarize themselves with the work carried out and the conditions established. The total cost of the project amounted to more than 4 billion AMD. It was implemented with Government co-funding as part of the Asian Development Bank's Seismic Safety Improvement Program. As a result of the work completed, Abovyan settlement has a new school with a design capacity of 1,000 students.
