At the initiative of EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, EU member state ambassadors convened a meeting with RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, at the “HayArt” Cultural Center.
ESCS Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan also attended the meeting.
Referring to the accomplishments of the previous year, ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan thanked the ambassadors for their significant commitments.
“Our partnership, joint efforts and work with the EU drive the development agenda for Armenia. Human rights, democracy, and the pursuit of a more just and honest society are the principles that bind us to the EU. In this context, the fields of education, science, culture, youth, and sports are vital, with human capital serving as the driving force of development,” noted the Minister.
Highlighting the scope of cooperation, Zhanna Andreasyan emphasized the Armenia-EU joint ongoing and carried out work within the framework of the Education Development Strategy till 2030. The Minister also underlined the special importance of collaboration in the fields of science and culture, emphasizing the significance of developing direct ties and enhancing dialogue.
The European Union Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos also welcomed the participants. The Ambassador highlighted the productive collaboration with Armenia in the fields of education, science, culture, sports and youth, stressing the importance of continuing joint programs and achievements.
