RA ESCS Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan visited the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia and the Cinema House.

Daniel Danielyan, accompanied by the Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia Harutyun Khachatryan, toured the building and got acquainted with the infrastructure.

Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia Harutyun Khachatryan and Adviser to the Presidential Arayik Manukyan presented the conditions of the buildings of the Union and the Cinema House and the work carried out. The activities of the Union and the upcoming activities were presented to the Deputy Minister.

After familiarizing with the renovated environment of the Cinema House, the ESCS Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring inclusivity in buildings. He inquired about the activity and engagement of the public in the organized events.

The project for the construction of the “Alley of Movie Stars Dedicated to the 100^th Anniversary of Armenian Cinema”, which will be located in the area adjacent to the Union building was also presented to the Deputy Minister.

Daniel Danielyan claimed that the trustees of Armenian culture are artists, and representatives of the sector, and the Ministry is always willing to promote effective initiatives aimed at the advancement of the film industry, and the implementation of new ideas and programs.

The Deputy Minister also inquired about the progress of the “Golden Apricot” Film Festival and the achieved results. He highlighted the importance of strengthening international cooperation through the festival.

During the visit, the issues of the sector, important programs aimed at Armenian and international cooperation, and the progress of their implementation were discussed.
