The delegation headed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan has left for Georgia on a two-day official visit to discuss bilateral cooperation and a number of issues of mutual interest.

The delegation includes ESCS Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan, Rector of YSU Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Director of Yerevan Basic School No. 51 named after V. Petrosyan Lusine Ghasaboghlian.

As part of the working visit to Georgia, it is planned to sign a memorandum "On cooperation in the field of education and science between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia", as well as a memorandum of understanding between Yerevan State University and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Another memorandum will be signed between Yerevan Basic School No. 51 after Vardges Petrosyan and Public School No. 104 of Tbilisi.
