The Youth European Boxing Championships will be held in Yerevan in April 2023.

The federations of Croatia and Macedonia also applied for hosting the tournament, but the European Boxing Confederation gave preference to Armenia.

The EUBC also informed about the venues of the European Championships of other age groups to be held in 2023.

The Junior European Boxing Championships will be held in Romania in July, and the Schoolboys and Schoolgirls European Championships will be held in Slovenia in August. The U-22 European Championships will be held in October-November in Azerbaijan, and Men’s and Women’s European Championships 2024 will be hosted by Serbia in March next year.

Note that in 2022 Yerevan hosted the European Championships among adults. For the organization and holding of the event in the best way, the European Boxing Confederation presented symbolic gifts to the Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, and ESCS Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan. More than 200 athletes from 39 countries participated in the championship. The total prize pool of the European Championships was $260.000. The Armenian boxing team won 4 medals at the European Championships held in Yerevan.
