From 5 to 7 October, the Delegation headed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan will participate in the Ninth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference on “Education for Circular Economy: Sustainable Infrastructure, Sustainable Tourism and Education for Sustainable Development”.

The delegation also includes ESCS Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan.

Within the framework of the Conference, RA ESCS Minister Vahram Dumanyan will deliver a report at the thematic session, as well as have meetings with partner ministers and high-ranking officials.

ESCS Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan will participate in the round table discussions within the framework of the Conference.

During the Conference, discussions are planned on the following topics:

  • Integrating the term “Education for Sustainable Development” into the context of the country's policy,
  • Digital education as a tool to support the "Education for Sustainable Development" program,
  • Obstacles countries face in implementing the strategy “Education for Sustainable Development”,
  • Challenges related to the new framework for the implementation of the UNECE Strategy,
  • Environment in the pan-European region: visions for 2030 and beyond,Quality education and education for sustainable development,
