RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan and Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan held a meeting today with the Director of the World Bank Office in Armenia Carolin Geginat.

Vahram Dumanyan presented the system of education reforms at all levels of education to the Director of the World Bank Armenia Office.

“I am sure that today's meeting and discussions will be interesting and productive. We attach great importance to the role of the World Bank, represented by the Armenia Office, in the implementation of reforms in the field of education in Armenia,” noted the Minister expressing gratitude to Carolin Geginat for the programs implemented with the assistance of the World Bank.

Director of the World Bank Armenia Office Carolin Geginat, in turn, noted that the development of human capital is their main priority, and in this regard, a great role is given to high-quality and competitive education.

The parties considered the possibility of digitizing the tools of the higher education system with the assistance of the World Bank.

During the meeting, current programs implemented with the assistance of the World Bank were also discussed. A reference was made to a number of working issues.
