In regard to the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Public Television, a group of employees of the TV Company were awarded by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

On this occasion, ESCS Minister Vahram Dumanyan and Deputy Minister Ara Khzmalyan received today employees of Public Television headed by Executive Director Hovhannes Movsisyan.

The Minister noted that the real assessment of the activities of long-term and experienced employees of Public Television is provided by the television audience who are in daily contact with the Company through the blue screen. “Public television is distinguished by its professional power and public mission, which is why the demands of our society from Public Television rank highly. Public television is not simply mass media: it also shares education, culture, and upbringing in all the programs, news releases, films, and other content. Public Television shapes thinking, creates approaches and methods of perception of various issues; Public Television dictates taste and style,” noted Vahram Dumanyan and added that expectations from the public TV company are gradually increasing. According to the Minister, it is very important to appreciate the devotion and efforts of the specialists who ensure uninterrupted broadcast of the Public Television with daily work, especially those who work behind the screens, ensuring uninterrupted broadcast.

During the meeting, the Minister handed the Ministry's awards to the employees of the Public Television Company for their long-term, faithful work in the field of television and on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Television. The employees of the TV Company Hasmik Navasardyan and Vahagn Mikayelyan were awarded medals of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. The honorary diploma was awarded to Yervand Petrosyan, Alexander Sayadyan, Vardges Avetisyan, Mushegh Minasyan, Karine Kocharyan, Garnik Sargsyan, and Hripsime Najaryan was encouraged by a certificate of appreciation of the RA Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports.
