ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia, Bolat Imanbayev. Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan attended the meeting.
Minister Zhanna Andreasyan welcomed the Ambassador, expressing gratitude for his efforts to strengthen ties between Armenia and Kazakhstan in the fields of education, science, culture, youth and sport.
The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude for the joint work and successful cooperation.
The parties highly appreciated the cooperation outlined in the documents signed between the two countries in various fields last year as an opportunity for sustainable development. The meeting addressed prospects for implementing joint programs between higher education and science, cinema, museums and libraries, and archives. In this regard, special emphasis was placed on the research visit to the Matenadaran and the National Archives of Armenia, conducted within the framework of the “Research Work of Kazakh Writers in the Archives of CIS Countries” program.
Zhanna Andreasyan informed the Ambassador that major events are planned in two Armenian cities in spring: “Meghri - CIS Cultural Capital” and “Kapan - CIS Youth Capital”, in which the participation of the Kazakh side is also anticipated.
The parties also referred to cooperation in the field of sport, highlighting opportunities to further strengthen collaboration across various sports.
Other issues of mutual interest were also addressed during the meeting.
