Starting from the academic year 2025-2026, the admission of foreign applicants to higher and postgraduate professional educational programs in educational institutions of the Republic of Armenian is conducted electronically through the fs.emis.am system.
The process of submitting documents via the “fs.emis.am” electronic system is explained in detail in the guide prepared for applicants.
To begin, you must first register in the system. After activating your account, you will be able to proceed with the subsequent steps.
- Visit the official website fs.emis.am and click on the “Login” button. A window will appear prompting you to either log in or register. Click the “Register” button, then enter your email address and create a password. Re-enter the password to confirm it. (All fields are mandatory and must be filled out.)
- After entering the information, a message will appear on the screen stating: “Account activated”.
- An email will be sent to the address you provided from the “National Center of Educational Technologies.” If you do not find it in your inbox, please check your “Spam” folder as well.
- Click the “Activate” button and log in to the admission system website. A message will appear on the screen confirming that your account has been activated, and your registration is complete.
- To log in to your account, click the “Login” button on the main page of the website and enter the credentials you used to register in the system.
- Through your account, you can submit applications to educational institutions, monitor their status, and perform various related actions, such as updating your selected university, program, password, and more, as necessary.
- After filling in all the fields required for admission, you must attach the necessary documents and click the "Save" button after completing each field. The completed application is saved in the “Applications” section of the applicant’s personal page. The applicant can cancel or edit the application.
On the fs.emis.am platform, users can explore universities, educational programs, lists of specialties, and academic degrees.

Application Deadlines
- For admission of Diaspora Armenian applicants to tuition-free bachelor’s educational program (specialties in Armenian studies, pedagogy, and the art), the deadline is August 22, 2025, inclusive.
- For admission to tuition fee full-time bachelor’s, as well as continuous and integrated educational programs, including preparatory courses, the deadline is September 30, 2025, inclusive.
- For admission to tuition fee full-time master's programs, including preparatory courses, the deadline is October 10, 2025, inclusive.
- For admission to tuition fee distance learning bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, the deadline is October 16, 2025, inclusive.
- For admission to tuition fee postgraduate educational programs, the deadline is November 14, 2025, inclusive.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- A copy of the passport,
- For Diaspora Armenian applicants: a notarized copy of the birth certificate or a copy of the baptism certificate,
- A copy of the graduation document certifying the educational degree (with grades), translated and notarized, and for certain countries, also with international legalization (apostille),
- A medical certificate regarding general health status (this certificate may also be issued by medical institutions of the Republic of Armenia),
- Certificate of unified state entrance examinations issued in the Republic of Armenia,
- Four photos (size: 3x4 cm),
- A curriculum vitae (CV) in Armenian, Russian, or English,
- For postgraduate professional education: a scientific abstract of about 20 pages on the chosen specialty topic, written in Armenian, Russian, or English.
