ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan visited the Artists' Union of Armenia today, where a rating exhibition is held to become a member of the Union.

ESCS Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan also participated in the visit.

The Minister toured the halls and talked with the authors of the works. She inquired from the students of Yerevan State College of Fine Arts after P. Terlemezyan what works they presented, what they expected and whether they were going to apply in the following years.

The rating exhibition has been running since 2019 and is intended for representatives of fine arts who are not members of the Artists’ Union of Armenia. The applicants represent painting, sculpture, graphics, decorative and applied arts: they are free in the choice of the topic.

According to the Chairman of the Artists' Union of Armenia, Suren Safaryan, 500 applications were submitted this year, of which the commission selected more than 200 works. 8 participants received incentive gifts. The participant who has the opportunity to participate in the exhibition, receives one point; having 5 points gives you the opportunity to become a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia.
