As part of Kazakhstan Culture Days in Armenia, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan received the delegation headed by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.

ESCS Deputy Ministers Arthur Martirosyan and Daniel Danielyan attended the official meeting.

ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan welcomed the delegation headed by Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, emphasizing that the Armenian side was impressed by the warm welcome from the Kazakh public during the Armenian Culture Days held in Kazakhstan last year.

“We are pleased to host you today and hold the Kazakhstan Culture Days in Armenia. I am confident that the events held within this period will become another important step in strengthening educational and cultural ties between our countries, opening up new perspectives for cooperation,” noted Minister Zhanna Andreasyan.

Thankful for the warm welcome, Aida Balayeva pointed out that the official visit reflects the mutual love and respect between the Armenian and Kazakh peoples. The Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan noted that she was impressed by the cultural archive housed at the Public Radio of Armenia, the musical heritage in particular.

“Our countries have wide opportunities for collaboration, especially in the field of culture - libraries, museums, music, film production and literature,” she said, emphasizing that the meeting carries historical importance for the two friendly countries, re-evaluating cooperative ties.

The parties discussed issues related to the execution of joint programs between various structures of the two countries, fostering dialogue in various fields of art, and raising awareness among the youth. Both sides emphasized the possibility of organizing joint events that would strengthen Armenia-Kazakhstan cultural ties.

The signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between the Public Television Company of Armenia and Kazakhstan “Khabar” Agency was also held in the scope of the meeting.
