RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan chaired the meeting of the Jubilee Commission commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.

ESCS Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan, Secretary General Hasmik Hakobyan, and commission members attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the logo of the 100th anniversary, the main events, organizational details of creating an integrated film, programs and schedule of tours abroad and within the regions were discussed and approved.

Welcoming the attendees, ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan emphasized that the objective of the meeting was to develop final approaches to the jubilee events.

During the meeting, representatives of the “Backbone Branding” company presented the concepts of the 100th-anniversary logo, commented on their meaning and features, and accordingly, the commission voted for one of them.

Additionally, the Commission also discussed and determined the main opening and concluding events of the jubilee year. The program also covers the orchestra's international and regional trips. The participation of renowned international artists in the events is also planned. The possibility of releasing a film in compliance with contemporary standards was considered. Chairman of the Union of Composers of Armenia Aram Satyan proposed to hold a composition competition as part of the anniversary celebrations. According to the Commission, the competition will foster additional activity among composers and create a unique atmosphere.

After finalizing the program package, the director of Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, Norayr Nazaryan, will present it to the ESCS Ministry.
