With the support of the RA ESCS and Foreign Affairs Ministries, the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia will embark on an international concert tour, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour on September 10.

The first three concerts of the tour are scheduled to be held in Europe. The concert of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia will be held in Brussels Music City Hall on September 11, at the Esch-Sur-Alzette City Theatre in Luxembourg on September 14, and in the hall of the House of Music in Hungary on September 17.

The concert program includes new jazz arrangements of the finest works by Charles Aznavour for a large jazz orchestra. The soloists of the concerts are Inga Arshakyan and Gor Sujyan.

The tour will continue in Africa and the United Arab Emirates in October and will conclude in South America in December.

The project is implemented as part of the “Charles Aznavour-100” anniversary events.

The 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour is included in the UNESCO calendar of anniversaries of eminent personalities and important events 2024-2025.
