Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan and Deputy Minister Zhanna Andreasyan are on a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (London) from 21-26 May to participate in the World Education Forum by the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, 2022.
This year, the World Education Forum is attended by delegations from more than 200 countries, including ministers from 112 countries.
During the trip, meetings are scheduled with the Executive Director of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Agency Alastair Delaney, Professor of the College of Supplementary Pedagogical Education Dame Ellison Peacock, Executive Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia Justin McKenzie Smith, Representative of the Armenian Office for Foreign Cooperation and Development Rebecca Atkinson.
Vahram Dumanyan and Zhanna Andreasyan will visit the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences of the University of London, and Dartford Secondary School.
Other meetings and visits are also planned, as well as the signing of a memorandum with the British Council.
It should be added that the Education Forum scheduled for 2021, was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
