By the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, the licenses for Bachelor’s and Master's educational programs of St. Teresa Medical University were terminated.

To ensure the continuation of education of the students of St. Teresa Medical University, the further education of the students will be organized in other universities. According to the procedure, the following actions are to be done for transfer to another institution:

  • Within 5 working days after the Order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA on termination of the licenses enters into force, St. Teresa Medical University must provide the student with the copies of release order and contract signed between the student and the institution, academic transcript, certificate of secondary or vocational (VET) education, if the student has fulfilled his/her contractual obligations to the institution, including tuition fee.
  • After receiving the documents, no later than within 5 working days, the student can apply up to 2 preferred institutions for the current semester to study in the same or related specialty (educational program), according to the list approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA. The student can choose up to 2 specialties in the same or related profession (educational program), but the priority will be given to the first application.
  • The organization of the study process of the student (educational program, specialty and course) in the current semester of the academic year, is determined by the host institution taking into account the places defined by the license for the given specialty (educational program) and based on the subject differences (credits, modules) and the condition of not exceeding the defined amount of academic debts.
  • For the current semester of the current course, in case there are subject differences due to a subject not included in the curriculum of the relevant specialty of the institution studied, or due to differences for more than one third of the credits from any subject, and in case of not exceeding 30 credits of academic debts, the student is attached to the relevant academic group by the order of the Rector of the Institution, and allowed to participate in the classes of the same specialty (educational program). Otherwise, the student is offered to continue the study from the lower semester: from which the requirement for continuing studies mentioned in this point is met.
  • In case the Institution cannot organize the student’s study in the corresponding course of the same specialty (educational program), with the suggestion of the Institution and with the consent of the student the further study may be organized in other related specialty (educational program). In case there is no related specialty (educational program), the student’s study can be organized in another profession (educational program), regardless of the number of places defined by the license for the given profession (educational program).
  • In accordance with the requirements of the Order, if there is a possibility to organize further study in two Institutions, the student must eventually choose one Institution (educational program).
  • In case the student does not apply for further study in the current semester on time, the organization of the student's study process for the next academic year or semester is regulated according to the requirements of the Order N1242-N approved by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia (dated November 17, 2011).
  • By the Order of the Rector of the Institution, a deadline is set for students to take the subject differences and academic depts (till the beginning of the examination period of the current semester). The order indicates subject differences, list of academic debts, subject credits and individual exam schedule. According to the individual schedule set by the host Institution, after passing the subject differences and academic debts (with the possibility of a maximum of one handover) the student is accepted by the Institution within 5 working days.
  • The amount of the tuition fee of the accepted student is calculated for type of study and profession (educational program), according to the number of total credits of the courses, taking into account the value of one credit for the corresponding specialization (educational program).
  • The student admitted to paid system, can be accepted by the Institution only after making the necessary payments, according to the procedures established by the Institution. The student is exempted from the previous courses of credited subjects and certification. The student is obliged to pay only for the subject courses (modules) that he/she will study.
  • The final attestation for the student who has completed the full course in the same specialty (educational program) and has accumulated the necessary credits required by the curriculum and for those who are eligible for final attestation, can be organized at the end of the current or next academic year according to the deadlines and procedures set by the Institution
  • For the purpose of final attestation, the student is attached to the relevant chair and receives a new topic of the final paper or Master's thesis, if the student's previous final paper or Master's thesis is not guaranteed by the chair.
